Box 66361 Chicago, IL 60666-0361 RE: The tariff classification of a decorative agglomerated stone article from China Dear Ms. Dorfman: In your letter dated June 5, 2001, on behalf of your client, LTD Commodities, Inc., you requested a tariff classification ruling. A representative sample of the item submitted and was sent to our Customs laboratory for analysis. The subject article, which is identified as “WXI-Light-UP Lighthouse Waterfall”, is a decorative agglomerated stone depiction of a lighthouse with a waterfall. The item features an electrically operated pump and contains two on-and-off switches, one to illuminate the lighthouse and the other to play sounds of the sea. The overall measurements are 12” X 8” X 10 1/2”. You indicated in your letter that the article is composed of natural stone powder agglomerated with plastic resin.
