Burr Blvd., Suite 10 Teaneck, NJ 07666 RE: The tariff classification of “R-333 (HYOJUN) CLEAR BASE (IN)” from Japan Dear Ms. Bowman: In your ruling request received October 30, 2015, you requested a tariff classification ruling on “R-333 (HYOJUN) CLEAR BASE (IN).” Your submission indicates that the product at issue is intended to be used in the production of automotive paint. “R-333 (HYOJUN) CLEAR BASE (IN)” is a chemical preparation comprised of several substances, including acrylic resin. The provided Material Safety Data Sheet identifies this product as acrylic base paint, and describes it as a colorless liquid with a solvent odor.
