Dear Mr. Perez: This replaces Ruling Number N251713, dated April 3, 2014, which contained two clerical errors. The merchandise in question should have been referred to in the subject line as an “automotive tuner assembly” and in the descriptive paragraph as “part number TFWC1U245D.” A complete corrected ruling follows. In your letter dated March 21, 2014, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise under consideration is referred to as an “automotive tuner assembly,” part number TFWC1U245D. This device is designed to only operate on the ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) band and is used within a specific frequency determined by the customer.
