Box 989 Freeport, FL 32439 RE: The tariff classification of the Container Clock from China Dear Ms. Owens: In your letter dated February 21, 2002, you requested a tariff classification ruling on the Container Clock from China. A sample of the Container Clock was submitted with the ruling request. The sample for which you are requesting a classification, item number 71704, is identified as the Container Clock. The Container Clock is an analog wall clock with a quartz battery powered movement. There are no jewels in the movement. The clock is housed in a clear plastic case and has a round dial with black hour and minute hands. The face of the clock features the traditional Arabic numerals 1 through 12 around the periphery corresponding to the hours of the day.
