Item FV 201918A Apricot Star Anise Infused Vinegar contains whole apricots and star anise. Item FV 201918B Spiced Citrus Berry Infused Vinegar contains whole kumquats, pearl onions, cranberries and chili pepper slices, and Item FV 202217 Citrus Berry Vinegar contains sliced oranges and cranberries. The fruit, or mixtures of fruit and vegetables, are in a liquid medium of vinegar, citric acid, salt, sodium sulfate, sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate, packed in clear glass bottles of various sizes and shapes. Laboratory analysis found each of the products to contain over 0.5 percent acetic acid. The vinegar and cranberries are products of the United States, the apricots are products of Turkey, and the onions are products of Israel. All of the other ingredients are products of China.

Dear Ms. Goldfischer: In your letter dated May 17, 2001, on behalf of Shonfeld’s (USA), Inc., you requested a tariff classification ruling. Three samples, ingredients breakdowns and illustrative literature accompanied your letter. The samples were forwarded to the U.S. Customs laboratory for analysis. Item FV 201918A Apricot Star Anise Infused Vinegar contains whole apricots and star anise.
