The glove features a vinyl palm patch which extends across the thumb, internal padded vinyl covered textile reinforcement across the back of the knuckles, an elasticized wrist, fourchettes, a backside textile wrist tightener with a hook and loop fabric closure and a hook and clasp. The cumulation of features on the glove show a design for use in the sport of skiing. The essential character of the glove is imparted by the outershell material.

Dear Ms. Miller: In your letter dated January 28, 1998 you requested a classification ruling. The submitted sample will be returned as per your request. The provided sample is a boy's lined and thickly insulated ski glove constructed of a woven man-made fiber outershell which will be imported as style ST 2005J (sizes 4 - 7) and style ST 2005B (sizes 8 - 18).
