Dear Mr. Crago: In your letter dated May 19, 2006 you requested a tariff classification ruling. The item in question is a portable battery operated FM/clock radio. It is a functional radiobroadcast receiver that enables the user to carry it while listening to radio broadcast programming. It also incorporates a digital LCD clock. The item is valued under $40 and is not designed for motor vehicle use.
