Dear Ms. Legg: In your letter dated February 9, 2006, you requested a tariff classification ruling. You submitted illustrations and descriptions pertaining to two products used for promotional purposes in retail stores. The first item, identified as a “brand sign” (ART663), is a 22” x 28” rectangular sheet of paper printed with an outdoor scene accompanied by the logo for a particular line of apparel. The second item, identified as a “brand tech sign” (ART665), is a 7” x 11” rectangular sheet of paper printed with promotional product information, brand logo and an outdoor scene. Both products are supplied with mounting hardware (e.g., clips, hooks, string) to facilitate placement on walls or hanging from ceilings. The general rate of duty will be Free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
