Icatibant Injection, imported in 30 mg/3 ml prefilled syringes, is a bradykinin B2 receptor antagonist. It is indicated for the treatment of acute attacks of hereditary angioedema (HAE) in adults 18 years of age and older. The applicable subheading for the Icatibant Injection in dosage form will be 3004.90.9290, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Medicaments … consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses … or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Other.” The rate of duty will be free.
