Heparin Sodium, imported in various dosages of 1 mL to 30 mL injectable vials, is an anticoagulant. It is indicated for thromboprophylaxis and to treat thrombosis associated with a variety of conditions such as pulmonary embolism and atrial fibrillation. It is also used as an anticoagulant in transfusion, extracorporeal circulation, and dialysis procedures.
