The subject product is called Zinc Acetate (CAS# 557-34-6). It is a single chemically defined compound, and is not a mixture of any other chemical. Zinc Acetate is used in waterproofing of textiles, paper, leather, agriculture. The applicable subheading for the Zinc Acetate (CAS # 557-34-6) will be 2915.29.5000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for which provides for Saturated acyclic monocarboxylic acids and their anhydrides, halides, peroxides and peroxyacids; their halogenated, sulfonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives: Acetic acid and its salts; acetic anhydride: Other.
