Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks acid production in the stomach. It is indicated for the treatment of stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and for the healing of erosive esophagitis. The applicable subheading for Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate in bulk form will be 2933.39.4100, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only: Compounds containing an unfused pyridine ring (whether or not hydrogenated) in the structure: Other: Other: Drugs: Other." Pursuant to General Note 13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
