Dear Mr. Zhang: In your letter dated October 5, 2015, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The merchandise under consideration is referred to as the “Logi Zerotouch” smartphone car mount. This device has a plastic mounting bracket on one end and a magnet on the other, and is used to mount a smartphone to the air vent of an automobile’s dashboard. It also incorporates a transceiver which allows it to transmit and receive data wirelessly with the “ZT App” of a smartphone. The purpose of this device is to facilitate hands free communication while driving.
