Inc., you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted sample is identified as Barbecue Grilling Claws, SKU# 40638010. It consists of two claw like components, one to be held in each hand, that are each made of carbon steel wire with a soft grip made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPR) plastic material. This item is designed to be used to shred pork, beef, and chicken. Each claw measures approximately 6½” by 5”. As you requested, the sample will be returned to you. The applicable subheading for SKU# 40638010 will be 7323.99.9030, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for…kitchen…articles…of…steel…: other: other: not coated or plated with precious metal: other: other…kitchen or tableware suitable for food or drink contact.
