Dear Ms. Kobs: In your letter dated February 1, 2012, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted sample is a hooded capelet, identified as style number CW321749. The body of the item is constructed of 100% acrylic knit fabric and the hood is constructed of wool and polyester woven fabric. The item features a full front opening with a button closure and no armholes. The capelet covers the wearer’s shoulders but does not reach the elbows. The sample will be returned to you as requested.
