The subject product, 1,2-Dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one, is a nonaromatic heterocyclic compound with nitrogen hetero-atoms only. The applicable subheading for 1,2-Dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one will be 2933.99.9700, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only: Other: Other: Other: Other:. The rate of duty will be 6.5 percent ad valorem. This merchandise may be subject to the Controlled Substances Act, which is administered by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Diversion Control.
