Product description
The PT-0003 is a flat, self-adhesive plastic reinforcement for the buttonhole of an airline insulation blanket. The finished blankets are installed into an airliner during the airliner’s fabrication. The buttonholes allow the blankets to be wrapped around brackets, conduits or other objects. The reinforcement, which serves as a grommet, is placed around the buttonhole for support. The reinforcement itself is composed of a nylon scrim which is visibly coated on both sides with a plastic material. The adhesive material is composed of an acrylic material. You suggest classification in heading 3926, HTSUS, which provides for other articles of plastics. However, the buttonhole reinforcement, which is flat and self adhesive, is more specifically provided for in heading 3919, HTSUS.
