The sample will be returned to you. The submitted sample, Item 69635 Versatile Scarf is made of 100 percent nylon knit fabric measuring approximately 53 inches in length x 5 inches in width. The item is primarily used as a scarf around the neck, but as the advertising illustrates it can also be worn as a capelet, on the head, or as a belt. The applicable subheading for the Versatile Scarf, Item 69635 will be 6117.10.2030, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Other made up clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted…Shawls, scarves, mufflers, mantillas, veils and the like: Of man-made fibers, Other." The rate of duty will be 11.3 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
