The WIR RX22-4 is a portable four-channel infrared receiver intended for use in courtrooms, language interpretation, houses of worship, lectures, and cinemas. It receives 2.3 MHz, 2.8 MHz, 3.3 MHz or 3.8 MHz modulated IR signals with 50 uS De-Emphasis (play down) and is compatible with transmitters operating on the 2.3 - 3.8 MHz frequency bandwidth. Dual infrared detectors provide maximum sensitivity and operating range. The WIR RX22-4 measures 4.1 inches in length by 2.85 inches in width by 1.2 inches in height, features an “On” LED indicator, a rotary channel selector knob, rotary-type volume on/off switch, and an earphone jack. It operates for 60 hours with two AA alkaline batteries and for 30 hours per charge with NiMH AA batteries. The infrared receiver can be used with mono or stereo headphones and earphones, or a neck-loop for users who have a hearing aid. The unit can be used with a lanyard for hands-free operation. However, it is not imported with any batteries, headphones, earphones, lanyard, or manual.

A sample was submitted for classification purposes and is being returned as per your request.
