The submitted sample is a blanket. The blanket is made from 100 percent polyester knit fabric. The fabric is brushed on both sides. All of the edges are finished. The blanket features a 16 x 18 inch pocket along one side. The blanket folds up into this pocket. The surface of the pocket is printed. The unfolded blanket measures 41 x 55 inches. The applicable subheading for the blanket will be 6301.40.0020, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for blankets and traveling rugs: blankets (other than electric blankets) and traveling rugs, of synthetic fibers… other. The rate of duty will be 8.5 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. The text of the most recent HTSUS and the accompanying duty rates are provided on World Wide Web at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/. The blanket falls within textile category 666. With the exception of certain products of China, quota/visa requirements are no longer applicable for merchandise which is the product of World Trade Organization (WTO) member countries.
