The subject product, Calcium D-saccharate, also known as D-Glucaric acid, calcium salt (1:1), is a salt of a carboxylic acid with an alcohol function. The applicable subheading for Calcium D-saccharate will be 2918.19.9000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Carboxylic acids with alcohol function but without other oxygen function, their anhydrides, halides, peroxides, peroxyacids and their derivatives: Other: Other: Other. Pursuant to General Note 13 to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, this product will be free of duty. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
