It is based on the Ultra IC and serves as an interface between a 4-wire telephone handset port and a headset capsule. The telephonic adapter has transmission and reception channels which provide features, such as transmit voice expansion and automatic gain control. The M12 will be put up for retail sale as a product comprised of the Plantronics M12 Vista Amplifier. A headset is not included. Additional features for the M12 include ergonomically designed volume and quick disconnect.

The merchandise subject to this ruling is a Plantronics Vista Universal Amplifier. It is identified in your letter as Model M12.
