The subject product, Daunorubicin Hydrochloride, is the hydrochloride salt of Daunorubicin, an anthracycline antibiotic isolated from the fermentation broths of Streptomyces peucetius. It is indicated for use as an antineoplastic drug. The applicable subheading for Daunorubicin Hydrochloride, imported in bulk form, will be 2941.90.3000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Antibiotics: Other: Other: Aromatic or modified aromatic.” The rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
