Dear Mr. Crago: In your letter dated October 19, 2005, you requested a classification ruling. As requested, the sample will be returned to you. Your submitted sample, style C080JA02555, Plush Poodle Scarf is a faux fur scarf constructed of knit man-made fiber fabric. The scarf measures approximately 44 inches long and 5 inches wide. It has a stuffed poodle head at one end and poodle feet at the other. The applicable subheading for style C080JA02555 will be 6117.10.2030, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS), which provides for other made up clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted; knitted or crocheted parts of garments or of clothing accessories: shawls, scarves, mufflers, mantillas, veils and the like: of man-made fibers, other. The duty rate will be 11.3 percent ad valorem. Style C080JA02555 falls within textile category designation 659.
