Dear Ms. Santos: In your letter dated May 31, 2002, you requested a tariff classification ruling. You are requesting the tariff classification on an animated display figure identified as item # 187063, “A Spinning Snowflake Snowman”. The item is a snowman that when activated will dance, tip his hat and spin the lighted snowflakes that he is holding. The decorative snowman also plays two songs: “Snow Miser” and “Let it Snow”. The product is an article that is appropriate for display during the Christmas season. The sample will be returned, as requested.
