Dear Ms. Wierbicki: In your letter dated December 12, 2001, you requested a tariff classification ruling, on behalf of Avon Products, Inc., your client. You are requesting the tariff classification on an item that is described as the “Bally Door Knob Exerciser”, item PP 238529. The merchandise is pulley system type exercise equipment. The product is constructed from a series of nylon braided cords that interconnect and are attached to two pulleys. The pulleys measure about 3 inches in diameter each.
