Dear Ms. Vietello: In your letter dated February 8th, 2001, you requested a ruling on tariff classification. The samples submitted with your request are handbags. Style #EV525 has an exterior surface of textile material of 54.9% rayon and 45.1% wool. The interior consists of a lined, single compartment that is secured by a front flap with center snap closure. A shoulder strap is permanently attached to the bag. Style #EH007 has an exterior surface of 52% rayon and 48% acrylic.
