Dear Ms. Castellanos: In your letter dated November 1, 2000, on behalf of Magnet, LLC, you requested a tariff classification ruling. Two samples were provided with your letter. Item 01980 Fix Max II is a sheet of white polyvinyl chloride (vinyl) with adhesive on one surface. The adhesive surface is protected by a peel-off paper liner. The sheet measures approximately 9 ½ inches in width. After importation the vinyl side will be imprinted with advertising and the sheet will be cut into various shapes.
