Dear Mr. Villena: In your letter dated May 25th, 2000, on behalf of LNS Group, DBA I.M.R., you requested a tariff classification ruling. The sample submitted with your request is identified as "Safety Gear PVC Bag" (a style number was not provided). You state the bag will be used for the transportation of life jackets and accessories on boats and yachts. The bag has an exterior surface of a sheeting of plastic and has a carry handle of nylon webbing on each side exterior. The interior of the bag in unlined and consists of a single compartment with no additional features. A full-width zippered closure secures the opening of the bag.
