Dear Mr. Parsons: In your letter dated December 22, 1999, you requested a classification ruling for a CD player carrying case. The sample submitted, identified as a “CD Player Waist Case”- model name “CD”, is a carrying case similar to a belt bag designed to protect and transport a personal compact disk player during travel.
