Dear Ms. Andrews: In your letter dated January 26, 1999, you requested an amendment of classification ruling NY D85624 which was issued to you on January 6, 1999 from this office. You have brought to our attention that the wrong fiber content was submitted by your office for style 912F722. In the original ruling NY D85624, the fiber content for style 912F722 was listed as 43% rayon, 33% flax and 24% polyester fibers. In light of the new information, the correct fiber content for style 912F722 should read 41% rayon, 37% cotton and 22% polyester. All other information in the original letter remains the same. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of this supplement and the original ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the this merchandise is imported. If the documents have been filed without a copy, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction.
