Dear Ms. Smith: In your letter dated December 30, 1997, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The submitted sample is identified as stock #91046, an assortment of 9" table decorations. Your letter of inquiry states that the assortment includes two designs, one is a snowman with a tree and the other is a Santa Claus with a tree. You further state that this merchandise will be purchased and sold to your customers through your Christmas department as Christmas decorations. The sample is returned as requested.
