NY B88884 September 3, 1997 CLA-2-20:RR:NC:SP:232 B88884 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 2009.80.6090 Mr. Peter D. Alberdi A.J. Arango, Inc. P.O. Box 75062 Tampa. FL 33675-5062 RE: The tariff classification of Apricot Juice from Argentina. Dear Mr. Alberdi: This is a supplement to Ruling No. NY B86438 dated June 24, 1997, on behalf of Sunbase, USA, Inc., of Tampa, Florida. The ruling issued to you indicated that products classified in subheading 2009.80.6090 which do not meet the criteria for duty free entry under the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) would be subject to a rate of duty of 0.3 cents per liter. This is a typographical error. The correct rate of duty for apricot juice under subheading 2009.80.6090 will be 0.6 cents per liter. All other facts stated in the ruling remain unchanged. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of this supplemental ruling, or the control number indicated above, should be provided along with Ruling No. NY B86438 and any other entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If you have any questions regarding the ruling, contact National Import Specialist John Maria at 212-466-5730. Sincerely, Gwenn Klein Kirschner Chief, Special Products Branch National Commodity Specialist Division
