NY B85200 April 24, 1997 CLA-2-62:RR:NC:TA 360 B85200 CATEGORY: Classification TARIFF NO.: 6211.41.0055 Ms. Doris Acosta SASSCO Fashions, LTD. 77 Metro Way Secaucus, NJ 07094 RE: Ruling NY B82406 - corrected style numbers Dear Ms. Acosta: In your letter dated April 2, 1997, you advise that the style number (J4349) shown in ruling NY B82371, dated March 11, 1997, was a proto number, and not the number under which the garment will be imported. In addition, you have also stated that the garment will be made in Taiwan, as well as, Thailand. The correct style numbers for the jacket classified in NY B82371 are as follows: Style 14306 - made in Thailand Style 14271 - made in Taiwan You have further stated that these style numbers represent garments identical to the one ruled on in NY B82371 and that no changes have been made to the garment. The balance of the information provided in NY B82371, concerning the rate of duty and the textile category designation, remains unchanged and is applicable to style 14271, which will be imported from Taiwan. This ruling is being issued under the provisions od Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). A copy of this supplement or the control number indicated above should be provided with the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If you have any questions regarding this supplement, contact National Import Specialist Patricia Schiazzano at (212) 466-5866. Sincerely, Paul K.
