Dear Mr. Dalton: This classification decision under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS) is being issued in accordance with the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177). DATE OF INQUIRY : October 31, 1995 DESCRIPTION OF MERCHANDISE : The sample consists of a foam vest with nylon woven belt and plastic buckle and four one pound coated weight inserts with fasteners. The vest is designed to be worn to provide weight resistance in an exercise regimen.
