NY 812795 July 31, 1995 CLA-2-42:S:N:N5:341 812795 CATEGORY: Classification Mr. Nelso R. Villamizar Heywood & Associates P.O. Box 309 Springville, UT 84663 RE: Amendment to NY Ruling 809993 dated May 24, 1995. Dear Mr. Villamizar: In your letter dated June 29, 1995, you requested an amendment of classification ruling NY 809993, which was issued to you on May 24, 1995 from this office. The original ruling NY 809993 reflected a discrepancy between the HTS subheading number. The item, a leather carrying case, was classified correctly under HTS 4202.91.0030, however, the letter inadvertently reflected the incorrect HTS 4202.92.0030 for the (ATPA) provision. The correct HTS number should read 4202.91.0030. All other information remains the same. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. A copy of this supplement and the original ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If the documents have been filed without a copy, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction. If you have any questions pertaining to this matter, please contact National Import Specialist Kevin Gorman at (212) 466-5893. Sincerely, Jean F. Maguire Area Director New York Seaport
