Grunfeld, Desiderio, Lebowitz & Silverman 12 East 49th Street New York, New York, 10017 RE: Classification of women's upper body garments--modification of HRL 085431 of December 20, 1989 Dear Mr. Wortman: This ruling is a modification of HRL 085431 of December 20, 1989. A typographical error appears in the facts section of that ruling. The third sentence of the first paragraph describing the merchandise at issue should read "The tops are color coordinated to match the importer's line of women's underpants and are designed in tank-top, T-shirt, mock-turtleneck and bra-top styles which do not reach below the midriff." We regret any inconvenience this error may have caused.
