The items in question are identified as badge lanyards. They are constructed of 4mm thick polyester cord with a metal badge clip. The lanyards’ Item Numbers are C091JA00069, C091JA00070, and C091JA00071 and they are 430mm, 460mm, and 470mm in length. The applicable subheading for the badge lanyards will be 5609.00.3000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for articles of yarn, twine, cordage, rope, or cables, not elsewhere specified or included: Of man-made fibers. The rate of duty will be 4.5 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change. The text of the most recent HTSUS and the accompanying duty rates are provided on World Wide Web at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/. This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
