It is indicated for bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis,and for intestinal amebiasis and giardiasis.The applicable subheading for the Secnidazole in bulk powder form will be 2933.29.4500, Harmonized TariffSchedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Heterocyclic compounds with nitrogenhetero-atom(s) only: Compounds containing an unfused imidazole ring (whether or not hydrogenated) in thestructure: Other: Other: Drugs.” Pursuant to GN13, HTSUS, the rate of duty will be free.The duties cited above are current as of this ruling’s issuance. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
