A photograph was submitted along with your request. The Bubble Remover and Headspace Tool, item #MS562980038001, is a household utensil used to preserve food in jars. The article is made of polypropylene plastic material and measures approximately 8.86 inches long by 1.19 inches wide by 0.12 inches in thickness. The blue plastic stick has a jagged edge on one end and a rounded edge on the other. The rounded edge of the stick is inserted into a jar to release air bubbles before sealing the jars. The holding set forth above applies only to the specific factual situation and merchandise description as identified in the ruling request. This position is clearly set forth in Title 19, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Section 177.9(b)(1). This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs and Border Protection Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
