Synonyms: 2-sulfanylethanol, Beta-Mercaptoethanol, thioethylene glycol Formula: C2H6OS Molecular weight: 78.14 EC-No.: 200-464-6 The applicable subheading for 2-Mercaptoethanol, (CAS# 60-24-2), will be 2930.90.9250, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Organo-sulfur compounds: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other.” The rate of duty will be 3.7 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
