VIVIMUSTA (Bendamustine Hydrochloride Injection), imported in dosages of 100 mg/4 mL (25 mg/mL), is an alkylating drug. It is indicated for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and Indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) that has progressed during or within six months of treatment with rituximab or a rituximab-containing regimen. The applicable subheading for the VIVIMUSTA (Bendamustine Hydrochloride Injection) in dosage form will be 3004.90.9215, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Medicaments … consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses … or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Antineoplastic and immunosuppressive medicaments.” The rate of duty will be free.
