Bortezomib for Injection, imported in 3.5 mg vials, is an antineoplastic agent. It is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with multiple myeloma and mantle cell lymphoma. The applicable subheading for the Bortezomib for Injection in dosage form will be 3004.90.9215, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Medicaments… consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses … or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Antineoplastic and immunosuppressive medicaments.” The rate of duty will be free.
