The item under consideration has been identified as a Car Pet Divider, which separates the front and back seats of the vehicle to prevent dogs from climbing into the front section. The divider is made of a body-solid 300D polyester, with a mesh lining, and measures 20” X .25” X 20”. The applicable subheading for the Car Pet Divider will be 8708.99.8180, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Parts and accessories of the motor vehicles of headings 8701 to 8705: Other parts and accessories: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other: Other.” The duty rate will be 2.5% ad valorem.
