An ingredients breakdown and description of the manufacturing process accompanied your inquiry. The product is said to contain approximately 100 percent collagen. It is a powdered product used for human consumption that can be consumed as is or mixed with water or milk. It will be packed in a box containing ten, 20 gram bags, 200 grams, net packed. The applicable subheading for the product will be 2106.90.9898, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for food preparations not elsewhere specified or included . . . other . . . other . . . other . . . other . . . other . . . other. The general rate of duty will be 6.4 percent ad valorem. Importations of this product may be subject to the provisions of Section 133 of the Customs Regulations if they copy or simulate a registered trademark, trade name or copyright recorded with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. If you are an authorized importer of the product we recommend notifying your local Customs office prior to importation. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
