The product under consideration, identified as PTEGAN-A-20, is Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) pipe for use in a potable water supply pipeline. This cold-formed, nonalloy steel pipe is made to ASTM A53, the standard specification for Pipe, Steel, Black and Hot-Dipped, Zinc-Coated, Welded and Seamless and has an outside diameter of 6.625 inches (168.27 mm) and a wall thickness of 0.280 inches (7.112 mm). You indicate that the pipe is lined with cement mortar and coated with tape (tape wrapped) and cement mortar.
