Plecanatide is a guanylate cyclase-C (GC-C) agonist indicated for the treatment of chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC). According to our laboratory, Plecanatide is a 16 amino acid synthetic polypeptide that acts as an agonist of the guanylin cyclase 2C receptor. The instant product is a structural analogue of the natural hormone uroguanylin. The applicable subheading for the Plecanatide in bulk form will be 2937.19.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Polypeptide hormones, protein hormones and glycoprotein hormones, their derivatives and structural analogues: Other.” The rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
