The subject product is a chemical product called Ferric Sodium Oxylate (CAS # 555-34-0). It is also know as trisodium trioxalatoferrate. You indicate that it will be used in metal treating. It will be imported in bulk form. The applicable subheading for the Ferric Sodium Oxylate will be 2917.11.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for which provides for Acyclic polycarboxylic acids, their anhydrides, halides, peroxides, peroxyacids and their derivatives: Oxalic acid, its salts and esters….. The rate of duty will be 3.1 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
