Westside Business Park Old Kilmeaden Road, Waterford Ireland RE: The tariff classification of Toremifene Citrate tablets in dosage form, from Ireland Dear Ms. Walsh: In your letter dated March 20, 2017, you requested a tariff classification ruling. The subject product, Toremifene Citrate tablets in 60 mg, is an estrogen agonist/antagonist. It is indicated for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women with estrogen-receptor positive or unknown tumors. The applicable subheading for the Toremifene Citrate tablets in dosage form will be 3004.90.9215, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for: "Medicaments ... consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses or in forms or packings for retail sale: Other: Other: Other: Antineoplastic and immunosuppressive medicaments." The rate of duty will be free. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
