The submitted illustration depicts an item that is identified as a Metal Mesh & Scroll Pet Gate with Door, Item No. 4896. This item is designed to be used to confine pets. It is comprised of three consecutive sections that each consist of iron mesh surrounded by an iron frame. The middle section is the door of the gate that swings open and closed. The other two sections are respectively attached to either side of the door by hinges. The item measures approximately 35½” x 44” x 21½”. The applicable subheading for Item No. 4896 will be 7323.99.9040, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for…other household articles…of iron…other: other; not coated with precious metal: other…gates for confining children or pets. The rate of duty will be 3.4 percent ad valorem. Duty rates are provided for your convenience and are subject to change.
